As of 2022, we are officially living inside our self-built A-Frame home !
Revamping our mobile chicken coop took a lot longer than we expected but it turned out just the way we imagined it would. It's large enough to fit as many chickens, turkeys, and ducks as Ellie could ever wish for, and for the most part, it's self-sustaining. We will do our best to take a short video tour so we can share all the details with you later this evening.
As we drove down to get the poultry settled we had the most beautiful view of the evening sky and the moon rising over our A-Frame. The summer bugs sang their sweet evening song, Ellie swung from the side of the buggy and the fireflies lit up in the pasture grass around us. Everything starts to come back to life in spring and by early June it already feels like summer in the mountains of West Virginia ❤
